Nancy Bishop, CSA, teaches for the first time in Zagreb, Republic of Croatia
CSA Casting Director, Nancy Bishop, will be holding master classes in beautiful Zagreb - "Bijeli Zagreb Grad" (White City of Zagreb), to share professional advice and discover new talent in the Balkans.
In these half-day workshops, actors who are proficient in English will have the opportunity to collaborate with a top American casting director who often casts Balkan talent on international studio and network projects.
This intensive 4-hour masterclass is ideal for actors who wish to improve auditioning skills in English as well as making valuable connections for international work. Since so many actors are now being asked to "self-tape audition" now, Nancy will show examples of successful clips. In addition, each actor will be assigned a scene to prepare in advance. Nancy will coach the scenes, with her proven Bishop Technique, outlined in her book, Secrets from the Casting Couch. Subsequently, the scenes will be taped and critiqued.
Nancy Bishop, CSA, has cast more than eighty films from her base in Prague ranging from large scale studio pictures, such as Mission Impossible IV, Prince Caspian, Bourne Identity, to independent films such as The Illusionist. She was nominated for an Emmy Award for her work on Anne Frank the Whole Story. She is also a top ranked acting coach and teacher, and her workshops are in demand internationally from Rio de Janeiro to Istanbul. She founded the Acting for Film Program at The Prague Film School, and penned the best-selling book, Secrets from the Casting Couch. Currently she is casting an international TV series, Transporter, produced by Luc Besson, and developing three feature films.
